I’ve been told that the true definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Although, in many cases people advise that if you aren’t getting the results you want then something needs to change, which I agree with.
However, when you are aware of a system or way of doing things that has proven success from others then it may be necessary to perform insane behavior over a period of time so you can get to the point of obtaining success. Especially, if those who have done it did not see immediate results either. In addition, if you are determined to achieve something no matter what, then at some point, you will.

Many people desire to become an entrepreneur but aren’t willing to do the work necessary to achieve it. They may be willing to take the time to learn what they need to do but don’t do the work long enough to see the success because they give up too quickly before they see any results.

You may be asking, “How do I know when it’s wise to stop the insane behavior and do something different?” That’s a hard question to answer. I’ve been told that it comes down to how much you really want something to work. It can take years to see true results or the results you desire from the work you’ve put into creating the desired outcome.

This is why your purpose for doing something has to be more important than the monetary outcome you’re looking for. Not just because it sounds good but because it would be highly improbable for someone who doesn’t have an insane drive to accomplish something to continue to do something over long periods of time if they aren’t seeing the results in a short period of time.

So if you’re looking to achieve a massive level of success, figure out why you want to do something before you do it, especially if it’s improbable that you will achieve quick results from doing it. As long as your why is driving you more than the outcome, it’s unlikely you will give up and therefore will do the work long enough to see the results you desire.
